OPG radiographs are a key part of any comprehensive dental examination. The OPG image quality can be easily affected by patient positioning errors, incorrect protocols and incorrect exposure, even with today’s modern digital imaging equipment. Most dental practitioners typically look at hundreds of OPGs every year. But just how familiar are you with the subtle signs of pathology on an OPG?
During this one-hour interactive webinar, Dr Raahib Dudhia, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, will discuss how to recognise signs of dental disease and pathology, focusing particularly on incidental findings that can often be identified. He will address common errors that can affect OPG interpretation and will share thoughts about when more advanced imaging technology may be required.
With an opportunity for real time questions and answers during the broadcast, this webinar is the ideal way to have the expertise of Dental Protection brought directly to you.
By attending this webinar you will:
- understand and recognise the common errors that occur when taking and interpreting an OPG
- recognise signs of dental disease and pathology on an OPG
- identify when an OPG isn’t sufficient and more advanced imaging is required
