Treatment Planning in General Practice
This course is designed to consolidate many areas of dentistry together to allow practitioners to plan cases for Aesthetics, Function and Longevity. We will cover Aesthetics, Occlusion, changing vertical dimension, the use of implants, removable and fixed prosthetics as well as the most difficult parts of a plan- sequencing and temporisation. It is recommended the attendees will have already completed our occlusion, implant and denture courses as background.
Attendees will be taught steps to logically structure treatment plans based on good data collection and diagnosis, as well as how to present these plans to patients.
Attendees will be asked to bring cases along to work on.
Planning the advanced case
Hands-on
The practical component will involve waxing up of teeth on supplied models, which will cover various situations you would encounter in daily practice. These will be mounted on an articulator to ensure form AND function are optimal
A treatment planning interactive course will follow this which will involve presenting and planning your own cases.
