In this seminar, our two presenters will aim to provide insight to when and why digital vs analogue impressions may be used, including pitfalls of both techniques. Furthermore, they will also discuss when one technique may be “favourable” to the other for the best clinical outcomes

    A registered specialist prosthodontist from Melbourne, Australia, Dr Tan has published multiple papers and lectured on a variety of scientific and clinical topics including treatment planning decisions, restorative techniques for compromised teeth, use of ceramics with implants, magnification for prosthodontics and the accuracy of CAD/CAM systems. Currently involved in several research projects, Dr Tan’s current interest is the implementation of digital technology to everyday practice.
