Event Details

Diabetes is a complex cardiometabolic syndrome with systemic and local, oropharyngeal, manifestations. It is a condition that more and more dentists are having to deal with on a daily basis. But how does a dentist and his team fit into the overall provision of care for such patients?

Clinical Associate Professor Gary Kilov and Dr Errol Kilov will present an interactive session highlighting the role of the dental team as members of a wider team of healthcare practitioners. Showcasing new ideas and strategies that every team can implement effectively. They will discuss ways to optimise diabetes and oropharyngeal care in order to mitigate the potential acute and chronic adverse outcomes of diabetes.
