Event Details
Learn how to optimise the outcome of removable complete and partial prostheses.
In today’s population, the removable prostheses remain a valid treatment option for replacing missing teeth. Removable prostheses are unique as they replace multiple missing teeth and supporting tissues, improve patient chewing and speech, and restore the patient’s appearance. However, the success of the removable prosthesis is largely dependent on its design and the standards of clinical steps.
Learn the critical steps for a successful, functional, comfortable and aesthetic denture; and receive updated knowledge and understanding on removable prosthodontics.
Explore:
- Case selection
- Consequences of wearing a removable prosthesis (as an introduction to how we can optimise the outcome)
- The clinical considerations to optimise the outcome of a removable prosthesis (complete and partial), including the aesthetic, biological and functional principles
- Principles of designing a removable prosthesis
- Critical steps that influence dentures outcome (complete and partial)
- Problems solving.
This webinar is part one in a series of three courses exploring removable prosthesis. Book for parts two and three:
