Event Details
Composite resin restorations are now the standard of care for the direct restoration of molars and premolars in both small and extended applications. A correctly placed composite will restore not only the form and function of the tooth, but it can also afford the opportunity to biomechanically reinforce the tooth in function. There is no doubt that direct composites can be very aesthetic, but they can also be functionally beneficial for a tooth – if placed correctly.
This one-day workshop will address the common clinical problems associated with placing posterior composite restorations, and how to avoid these pitfalls. Specifcially, Michael will demonstrate predictable techniques to ensure successful placement of these restorations and then describe the latest developments in these dental materials and adhesives, to make the procedures even simpler and faster.
What you will learn:
- Update on composite technologies
- Simplified (fool-proof) Dentine bonding
- When to use conventional materials and when to use the latest
- Simple and predictable clinical techniques for composite placement
- Fast and efficient finishing and polishing for posterior composite restorations
