Programme Mission: “Educate the clinician on current evidence-based treatment techniques and procedures. This Post Graduate Certificate course in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry is designed by Dr. Subir Banerji, the Programme Director of the internationally acclaimed MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry Oral & Craniofacial Sciences King’s College London. This is a practical module for Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry training with a core element involving intensive practical manikin-based exercises spanning over 10 days in internationally approved training centers. The 10 days will cover among other things, techniques relating to Anterior Direct Composite Restorations, Posterior Direct Composite Restorations, Anterior Indirect Restorations, Posterior Indirect Restorations, Clinical Occlusion and Periodontal procedures for general dental practice. This training is completely onsite and hence the delegates will have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with faculty as well as their peers. The hands-on practical component will enable them to demonstrate understanding and application of techniques covered in clinical practice.
Accreditation This programme is recognized by EduQual (UK), an awarding body from United Kingdom, as a post graduate level certificate course. It is equivalent to level 7 qualification. These awards can only be achieved if the syllabus, quality of teaching, course assessments and content are of a sufficiently high quality for Post Graduate Certificate award as governed by the UK awarding bodies.

Assessments
Understanding of different concepts covered during the workshops will be verified by online/onsite assessments in the form of Multiple Choice Questions.

Entry requirementsRegistered Dental Practitioner with registration on the relevant Dental Council of country where employed as a dentist. The course will be conducted in English so knowledge of English essential. Internet access is required for online learning resources.

Associated Continuing Professional Development Certificates as per enhanced Continuing Development Guidelines from the General Dental Council (UK). Upgrade to Diploma – Students who have passed this programme can also complete the Post Graduate Certificate in the Theoretical Management of Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry and be eligible for assessment for the award of a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.
