A review of what dentists need to know about oral cancer, oral potentially malignant disorders: screening, detection, diagnosis and management.

This online symposium will bring Head and Neck specialists, Medical and Radiation Oncologists together to discuss the latest developments in Head & Neck Cancer diagnosis, treatment and research with a focus on cancers of the oral cavity.

The purpose of the online symposium is to provide primary health care providers, that being general dental practitioners, with practical information regarding the identification, investigation and initial management of malignant and premalignant lesions of the oral cavity. Additional information will be provided about the treatment of advanced oral cancer from specialists in head and neck surgery, reconstruction, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and the complications that may arise following these therapies.
