Dr Rick Lazar is a specialist prosthodontist in private practice. He was also previously a part time clinical tutor and lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the Oral Health Centre of WA.
Dr Lazar obtained his dental degree from the University of Sydney in 1976 and a MSc degree from the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London in 1980 and an MS degree in prosthodontics from the University of Michigan in 1985. He was a member of the ADA council. 1986-1991, a member of the UWA postgraduate education committee and past president of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (WA Branch). Currently he is a member of the ADA, Australian and NZ Academy of Prosthodontists (ANZAP), Australian Prosthodontic Society (APS) and the Australian Osseointegration Society (AOS).
Dr Rick Lazar conducts hands-on Implant Courses at an Introductory Level, Intermediate Level and Advanced Level. He has presented numerous lectures throughout Australia in the area of prosthodontics, including the restoration of complex cases, implant dentistry and aesthetic dentistry.
His current areas of interest are implant and aesthetic dentistry.
