Associate Professor Roy Judge is Director of Continuing Professional Development and Head of Prosthodontics at the Melbourne Dental School. Roy is chief investigator of the Evident Study “Implant Complications in Practice: A Prospective Study”. Roy is also in specialist Prosthodontic practice in Essendon.

Dr Christopher Evans completed his BDSc (University of Queensland), and his MDSc in prosthodontics (University of Melbourne). He is in full-time specialist prosthodontic practice in Brighton, and has a branch practice in Albury, NSW. Chris has been involved with teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students at The University of Melbourne and has been involved in several international multi-centre clinical research trials. He has presented on implant dentistry and other prosthodontic topics throughout Australasia, Asia, America and Europe.

Dr Eric Tan graduated in dentistry from the University of Adelaide and shortly thereafter completed a Masters degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Melbourne. He has lectured in Australia and internationally on topic srelating to implant dentistry, adhesion, aesthetics, occlusion and ceramics. He was formerly involved in the clinical teaching of fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry at the University of Melbourne at the under graduate and postgraduate level for 13 years. He maintains a Private Specialist Prosthodontic Practice in Brighton, Victoria.

Dr. William Zhang is a registered specialist as a periodontist at the Periodontics and Dental Implant Specialist Centre in Hawthorn East, Melbourne. He graduated with Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne, and successfully completed the postgraduate study with high distinction and obtained the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) from the University of Sydney. He was subsequently awarded with the highest qualification in clinical dentistry, the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Dr Zhang is a vice president of Australian Society of Periodontology (VIC branch), and an active member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Osseointegration Society, International Team for Implantology and Australia and New Zealand Academy of Periodontics, He is the first periodontist in the world who has studied the magnitude of oral bacteraemia caused by flossing and scaling and root planing in patients withchronic periodontitis. Dr Zhang also maintains a strong interest in training the new generation of dentists. He presents lectures on periodontics and implantology to students and dentists both locally and internationally.

Professor Andrew Heggie is currently Senior Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Clinical Professor in the Department of Paediatrics, at the Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne. He is also in a group private practice, Melbourne Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. His main interests are in the correction of congenital and developmental facial deformity and he also has extensive experience in bone grafting of the maxillofacial skeleton having been involved indental implantology since its introduction to Victoria in 1985.
