Introduction to clinical photography for dentists

Event Details

Learn how to optimise the quality of your clinical photographs, and enhance documentation and communication with patients, peers and consumers.

You have got a fancy camera in your clinic – but do you really understand how it works to optimise the quality of your clinical photographs and enhance documentation and communication with patients, peers, and consumers?

Learn the basics of exposure values, camera operation, and how to select or set-up the camera and lens to optimise clinical photography. The ability for images to be captured, uploaded and reviewed is more efficient than ever, and allows us to communicate and document in a way that explanations can’t.

The webinar is aimed at those dentists who have a clinical camera or are looking to purchase one and want to understand the basics of how to use and operate it in a clinical environment.

You will learn:

  • The parameters of exposure and image capture
  • The basic operation of the camera, image capture and lens types
  • How to apply your knowledge of camera operation to clinical photography in the dental environment
  • Tips for taking quality images for patient/peer/laboratory communication, and of treatment and orofacial conditions.
