Implant maintenance and management of peri-implant diseases

Event Details

Implant maintenance and management of peri-implant diseases

Learn how to effectively plan, design and maintain implant suprastructure.

The number of implants placed is increasing every year; however, the increasing number of implants placed is also associated with an increasing number of ailing or failing implants.

Most problems with implants could be prevented by careful planning and design of the implant suprastructure, as well as by appropriate and customised implant maintenance. Furthermore, early intervention and treatment of emerging peri-implant diseases would in most cases be able to prevent a further deterioration or even implant loss.

You will learn:

  • The most important factors for peri-implant diseases
  • The different types of peri-implant diseases
  • An evidence-based oral hygiene concept with a focus on implant care
  • The correct application of the AIRFLOW device.
