This two part presentation will cover how modern 3D imaging is used to guide therapy in both preserving and replacing teeth.
Part 1 features an endodontist, Dr Kehn Yapp, who will discuss the evolution in using cone beam CT imaging to plan and provide predictable, conservative endodontic and restorative treatment.
Part 2 features a prosthodontist, Dr Philip Tan, who will cover the use of image-guided implant placement and restoration.

Dr Kehn Yapp completed his general dental and specialist endodontic training at The University of Melbourne.
He lectures extensively at international and Australian conferences and teaches in the fields of providing high quality endo-restorative care to patients, ergonomic microscope team training and diagnostic decision and probability theory.

A registered specialist prosthodontist from Melbourne, Australia, Dr Tan has published multiple papers and lectured on a variety of scientific and clinical topics including treatment planning decisions, restorative techniques for compromised teeth, use of ceramics with implants, magnification for prosthodontics and the accuracy of CAD/CAM systems. Currently involved in several research projects, Dr Tan’s current interest is the implementation of digital technology to everyday practice.
