This informative all-day seminar will include an informative morning and afternoon session.
Dr Mark Wotherspoon will speak in the morning about the opportunities available in aged care with his respected ‘Dentist to Your Door’ program.

In the afternoon listen to A/Prof Carsten Palme, Dr Hubert Low and Dr Sue-Chin Yeoh present the topic ‘Oral Cavity Cancer’ via a number of intriguing case studies.

    Associate Professor Carsten Palme

    Head and Neck Surgeon and Clinical Associate Professor in Surgery at the University of Sydney

    Associate Professor Carsten Palme Associate Professor Carsten E Palme is an Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeon and Clinical Associate Professor in Surgery at the University of Sydney. A/Prof Palme holds clinical appointments at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Westmead Hospital, Sydney. He is also a visiting medical officer at Westmead Private Hospital, Macquarie Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital.

    After attending medical school at the University of Sydney A/Prof Palme completed four years of advanced training in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002.

    A/Prof Palme completed post-training fellowships in the American Head and Neck Society Head and Neck Oncology Program,

    Dr Mark Wotherspoon Successful private Dental practitioner of 28 years. Prior to this Mark held Government service appointments as a Dental Officer in the remote Kimberley of Western Australia and Military Service in the ADF (Army Dental Corps). Has also worked as a University Clinical Demonstrator and is the Co – Founder of MPDS [ Mobile Portable Dental Systems]. Mark has successfully integrated a domiciliary dental service into private practice.

    Dr Sue-Ching Yeoh

    Oral Medicine Specialist

    Dr Sue-Ching Yeoh Sue is an Oral Medicine Specialist, and maintains a specialist private practice Sydney. She has appointments at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. Sue is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (General and Special Fields Stream); and the International College of Dentists. She is the President-Elect of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia. Sue is a member of the ADA Therapeutics Committee and has contributed to the Therapeutic Guidelines: Oral and Dental V3 (2019).
