Direct Composite Restorations
Note : This training qualifies for four hours of verifiable CPD as per the regulations specified by General Dental Council (UK) with certificate available.
The placement of composite resin for the restoration of posterior teeth is on the increase. In certain countries the use of amalgam has been banned for various reasons. There is a growing body of evidence which is becoming available to support the use of Direct Posterior Composite restorations as a long term functional, predictable, aesthetic and indeed desirable option. The modules in this training will present the evidence, clinical techniques and details necessary to provide these restorations successfully with the use of videos, images, text and additional material. Assessments are also provided to monitor progress and upon completion certificates will be issued.
