Course Description

Our HR hot desk has been very busy in the last week responding to employer & employee queries regarding COVID-19 related quarantine and leave entitlements and how best to maintain a workforce within this health and business crisis.
As the government starts to roll out assistance packages for business and employees it is important that employers and employees be up to date with assistance packages for business and options available in relation to utilisation of leave, correct process for standown of employees, termination and redundancy.
This crisis will pass and business will need staff to return to work, but if not done correctly, this may not happen. .

Employment lawyer and director of AHIG will be online Tuesday afternoon to answer your questions on;

  • Quarantine and leave entitlements
  • Options for employee standown or termination
  • How will employees be notified when they can come back to work
  • Work cover  issues
  • Impact of education and traineeship when employee is stood down
