The aim of this clinical day is to present the contemporary developments in endodontic practice. The presenters will focus on complex diagnosis and treatment planning in the current era, advanced and current endodontic procedures including access, rotary canal preparation , root canal retreatment and surgical endodontics.

Topics Include:

    Dr Alan Nerwich

    Bachelor of Dental Surgery

    Dr Alan Nerwich Alan graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and was awarded Honours. He obtained his Masters of Dental Science degree in Endodontics from the University of Melbourne in 1992. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the special field of endodontics.

    Alan is a Past President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists (ANZAE) and has served as Vice President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (ASE) in NSW. Alan is the current Oceanic Regent for the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA) and is a member of the Board of Studies in Endodontics for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

    Marcus is a Specialist Endodontist and maintains his private practices in Sydney, Bondi Junction and Miranda.

    He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery 1994 at the University of Sydney and Master of Dental Science in Endodontics in 2001 at the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and Member of the RACDS in the specialist field of Endodontics. Marcus is also a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and International College of Dentists.

    Marcus has published papers in the Australian Endodontic Journal and Annals of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

    Marcus was the past president of the Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW) in 2007/2008 and is the current counsellor member (Australia) of Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation, member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, and associate member of the American Association of Endodontists.
