Week 1

In week 1, we set the foundations for optimal communication between the dental practice and patient.
Using the New Patient Exam as a framework, we will explore the following topics:
Week 2
Primespeak: The New patient Exam
Most clinicians understand that there is often a large gap between what patients think they need and what clinicians know they need.
In this week, we will explore the Primespeak approach to effectively bridging the gap at the New Patient Exam.
Week 3
Primespeak: The New Patient Exam (Continued)
Drawing on all the Primespeak tools learnt, we will practice applying them to support patients in making an informed decision about their oral health. This will encourage patients to take ownership of their own oral health – thus seeking your solutions to the problems that they are aware of and concerned with.
Key Outcomes

By the end of Virtual Primespeak, you will have the tools and techniques to…
- Reduce the potential for patients to say, “I’ll think about it“.
- Turn “I hate going to the dentist” into a relationship-building opportunity.
- Manage the ‘no-pain = no problem‘ obstacle.
- Eliminate any perception of sales pressure or the potential of being rejected.
- Shift a new patient’s previous bad experience and mismanaged expectations into your favour.
- Learn to align pre-existing patient beliefs about oral health with your knowledge.
- Implement the Primespeak approach with both new and existing patients.

Course Outline
This online seminar spans across 3 weeks of learning and is designed as a complete communications program.
Week 1
Primespeak: The Fundamentals of Patient Communication

Treatment Planning,
no great dentistry is accomplished without it

Transform your dentistry career with 8 step-by-step Treatment Planning Protocols with massive case acceptance
Starting 1 MARCH 2021

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
- Your patients need complex care, but you don’t know how to start planning it
- You afraid your patients won’t be able to afford the treatment or respond negatively about the cost
- You think the treatment planning processes will take too long
- There are so many treatment options and you confuse patients and yourself
- You believe your patients will look for another opinion and you lose their business
- You aren’t meeting your full potential to do the cases you should be doing
IMAGINE A WORLD…
- .. where you treatment plan more thoroughly and in less time, keeping beautiful records done quickly
- .. where your acceptance rates dramatically increase for all case types, using a step-by-step protocol that works, even if you are shy.
- .. where your legal risks are reduced and patient satisfaction is increased through informed consent
- .. where you confidently discuss expensive treatment plans and patients don’t look for a second opinion
- .. where you rarely have cost shock or rejections
- .. where you are booked with patients months in advance
We believe that treatment planning does not have to end with rejection.
We understand that discussing high cost and complex treatments can be uncomfortable for dentists, which is why we have over 500 successful Treatment Planning course graduates who use our simple protocols that allow dentists to plan even the most complex cases efficiently, ethically, and with high case acceptance.
Are you ready to take your career to the next level?
Your lead educator, Dr Lincoln Harris, boasts an 80-90% acceptance rate, and his courses sell out immediately.

DENTIST
It’s been very inspiring.
The reason I did this course is because I think patient communication and treatment planning is quite difficult to do, and Lincoln has put a lot of things in perspective.
He has given a lot of different ideas and basically, says that you know there is no right or wrong.
Everyone has their own skills and you need to listen to the patient to see what and they need to guide you where you want to go with your treatment planning and in communication.
I think the emotional, feeling that we have on treatment planning and costs, I think we need to get over that and Lincoln has really guided us how to do that.
I’ve done a lot of courses over the years and one of the reasons I’ve done this course is because I have done a previous one with Lincoln on anterior dentistry and I also subscribed to his online academy and I love it that everything is real.
You know, it’s not academic it’s real-life dentistry which is what we face every day and so I can relate to that and I think everyone can relate to that.
He is a practising dentist who faces the challenges every day that we face and helps us deal with situations and gives us avenues of treatment planning and treatment.

Huddles & Team Meetings : COVID19 & Beyond
Good communication systems are the backbone of success in any dental practice. The lack of these systems can lead to operational breakdowns leading to additional stress for the entire team. During times of uncertainty and change, such as we are experiencing from COVID-19, communicating effectively is more crucial than ever.
The best time to build enthusiasm, generate commitment and inspire your team is right now. In this course you will learn how to foster and promote great team spirit by incorporating systems which enable regular intra-team communication.
- Team Huddles: You will learn the mechanics of how to run a well-facilitated daily meeting, of what we call the Daily Huddle. The Daily Huddle promotes teamwork and encourages open communication amongst everyone in the team resulting in a smooth, flowing day with reduced stress. As business resumes for all practices, find out how your huddles can be used to support your team and your patients through the impact of COVID-19.
- Team Meetings: We will also cover how to get the most out of your regular team meetings by applying some simple guidelines and facilitation techniques. Meeting remotely, as many practices have done during the COVID-19 shutdowns and restrictions, have become the ‘new normal’. Learn how to get the most out of remote meetings and managing them so they are as effective as meeting face-to-face.
By encouraging an environment where communication flows positively, the practice will be able to function more productively and effectively.

FPT is convened by Dr Agnes Lai, whom brings exceptional experience in clinical practice, prosthodontic professional education and – in particular – events of this course format. She has developed an integrated, intuitive and innovative course schedule which addresses all facets of prosthodontic procedures and treatment planning for Dentists of the broadest experience ranges.
